Introduction to cm-locale-ar_OM-14.0.1.1000-1.cop.sha512

This Cisco Options Package (COP) provides ISO 639-3:ara compliant localization for Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) 14.0(1)SU3 and newer deployments in Oman. Designed to meet Royal Decree 48/2024 telecommunications regulations, it implements right-to-left (RTL) text rendering, Hijri/Gregorian calendar coexistence, and Oman-specific emergency service protocols. The 14.0.1.1000-1 build resolves 23 localization issues reported since CUCM 12.5, including Arabic diacritic rendering errors in Cisco IP Phone 8865 touch interfaces.

Cisco’s Middle East Localization Team validated 28,400+ UI elements across CUCM’s Call Routing, Device Management, and Security modules. This release aligns with Oman’s National Cybersecurity Framework v3.2 and GCC Standardization Organization (GSO) GSO 2535:2025 requirements.
